How it “works:”

Buy the beets in your favorite bougie grocery store. Cook them somehow. Eat them. 

The Pitch:

Most sensible Americans agree that beets are nasty – best used for punishing toddlers and in times of famine. However, just like other gross vegetables such as kale and quinoa (probably a vegetable?), this presents a perfect opportunity for a rebrand! 
 
Enter the next episode of veggie innovation: ‘Beets by Dre!’ They have the same bad taste, but also cost twice as much as regular beets! 
 

Why this was a bad idea:
